Nose
Earthy aromas rise from the glass with fresh flower petals and a little liquorice.

Palate
A well-rounded spirit with a clean texture and a hint of minerality. Crisp juniper flavours to start with a pleasant dryness and peppery leafiness reminiscent of rocket adding complexity.

Finish
A soft, clean finish with resinous menthol notes and a very gentle bitterness.

Comments
A fresh and crisp gin that would work well with soda or a herbal tonic water.

Score

7.6

Nose
There’s a very fresh piney note from juniper, almost menthol fresh. Touches of tart berries, blackcurrant and redcurrant, and a hint of salinity. Some sticky, cooked lemon and coriander notes come through, too.

Palate
At first it’s full-on classic, with lemon, coriander and a big hit of juniper, followed by berry bittersweetness and salinity.

Finish
It fades out with more pine notes and a tiny suggestion of sweet red fruits.

Comments
There’s quite a lot going on here that would shine in a simple serve.

Score

8.3
