Nose
Bright, leafy menthol notes rise from the glass and combine with notes of dusky cocoa, making it all somewhat reminiscent of an after-dinner mint.

Palate
The palate has a broader range of leafy herbal notes, along with nutty coriander seed and a creamy sweetness..

Finish
The coriander notes develop towards more malty, biscuit-like flavours, along with a minty pepperiness.

Comments
A fresh, bold gin with a great level of intensity, this would find a good home in a Gin Julep.

Score

8.6

Nose
Big notes of dark chocolate, dark wood and blackcurrants, with a touch of singed lemon. Further back there’s juniper and a leafy, floral note. More juniper comes with more time in the glass.

Palate
Bold spice notes of pepper and coriander, more of that dark chocolate and piney juniper. It’s got a creamy mouthfeel and a pleasing heat.

Finish
Hints of liquorice with more juniper, lemon and wood shavings.

Comments
Very smooth and sippable. This could make a really nice Bramble.

Score

8.8
