Nose
Full of green aromas, with the slightly vegetal salinity of celery and some earthy coriander.

Palate
Sweet to start with plenty of honey, juniper, and hints of orris and violet. A little woodiness and mellow citrus develop on the palate over time.

Finish
A delicate lemon sweetness, reminiscent of tart au citron with a hint of pine needles.

Comments
A lightly sweet and extremely sippable gin with lots of citrus and pine; this would make a Bee’s Knees that would truly be worthy of the name!

Score

8.8

Nose
This has a real spice-cupboard nose – cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, gingerbread – with juniper, cassia and orange peel. There’s a touch of juiciness to it, as well.

Palate
The spiciness from the nose carries on through but gets more savoury, with pepper, coriander and star anise. There’s a little citrus, waxy juniper and an aromatic note of bitters.

Finish
t’s medium in length – very spicy with a little alcohol tingle.

Comments
A real spice bomb of a gin. This could pair well with a fiery ginger ale.

Score

8.1
