Bombay Sapphire joins ‘ready-to-drink’ market with new product

Bombay Sapphire is poised to take its first slice of the ready-to-drink (RTD) market with the launch of a new product.

Bombay Sapphire and Tonic comprises a serve of the premium vapour-infused gin and mixer. The beverage, which comes in at 6.5% ABV, is sold in 250ml cans which are 100-per-cent recyclable.

Its first stockist will be Ocado, where it is available for £2.80 per can, followed by other UK supermarkets and convenience stores in the summer.

Studies have revealed RTD was the fastest-growing category in the UK alcohol market in 2019, driven by demand from busy consumers for whom convenience is king.
