Nose
Clean, earthy notes with meadow flowers, as well as woody bark and
root notes. Subtle notes of orange in the background.

Palate
Zesty coriander that brings both citrus and spice, followed by floral cilantro and black liquorice. A sprinkle of juniper and baking spice.

Finish
Long and spicy with a hint of bell pepper and sweet chilli, then liquorice root.

Comments
A powerful gin packed with zesty spice; would stand up well in a Zanzibar.

Score

7.4

Nose
The juniper comes through strongly making this one for the traditionalists who will love its fine balance of sharp fresh citrus fruits, warm oriental spice, fresh flowers and clean herbal notes.

Palate
These powerful aromas follow through in the mouth with more root and herb flavours including rosemary, mint, thyme and bay leaves.

Finish
Big and lingering. Long and peppery with cumin, anise and cloves.

Comments
Serve with tonic in a hi-ball glass and garnished with a sprig of rosemary or mint.

Score

8.4
