Nose
Succulent, fruity notes of mango and berries are accompanied by spicy citrus.

Palate
A thick texture with a slightly woody smokiness from the juniper is followed by honeyed notes and a gradually building oaky spice.

Finish
Earthy angelica on the finish with gentle notes of violet and a hint of pepperiness.

Comments
A well-made gin with plenty of character. Its light sweetness suggests that a Gin Old-Fashioned would be
a good fit.

Score

7.8

Nose
Creamy, like rhubarb and custard chewy sweets. Rich vanilla crème brûlée. Sweet oranges and cherries, and a little cacao, then slightly green juniper notes.

Palate
Baking spices (and a little sponge cake), oily orange and juniper. Creamy vanilla and cacao morph into dark chocolate. More cherry notes. Nice hum of the alcohol.

Finish
Mid-length and drying with a little sweetness and citrus.

Comments
Lovely complexity. The sweet yet stout character of this would lend it well to a short, simple serve.

Score

8.9
