After marking Campari’s Negroni Week last week, we’re not quite ready to let go of this Italian beauty just yet – so we have a seasonal variation for you courtesy of Slingsby Gin! This Blackberry Negroni uses the Yorkshire distiller’s new Blackberry Gin, a seasonal edition packed with juicy hedgerow fruit flavours. The recipe includes Chambord, a vibrant raspberry liqueur, alongside Campari and sweet vermouth.
- 30ml Slingsby Blackberry Gin
- 15ml sloe gin
- 15ml Campari
- 15ml sweet vermouth
- 15ml Chambord
- 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Stir all the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with a blackberry and a grapefruit peel twist.
