This week, Gin Magazine reported that Oddbox has teamed up with Penrhos Spirits to create a gin to fight food waste. Cucumber & Apple Gin is created using wonky cucumbers and apples rescued by Oddbox, and are then distilled and bottled by Penrhos.
To celebrate the launch, the two brands have collaborated on a Penrhos x Oddbox Wonky-Tini cocktail.
Ingredients
- 50ml Oddbox Cucumber and Apple Gin
- 50ml Cloudy Apple Juice
- 25ml Lemon Juice
- 15ml Sugar Syrup
- Mint to Garnish
Method
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake to combine, until shaker feels cold. Strain into martini glass and garnish with a sprig of mint.
Tip: freeze any leftover mint for future cocktails
