Ad Gefrin presents Thirlings Dry Gin

Ad Gefrin has announced a dry gin as its second spirit, following its inaugural whisky blend Tácnbora which launched at the end of last year.

Bottled at 43.6% ABV, Thirlings Dry Gin has been described as a perfect experience for both gin veterans and newcomers. It’s versatility is said to lend itself to classic cocktails, with a premium tonic or savouring neat.

The producers have reviewed the expression as having aromas of juniper and citrus lemon, with notes of dill and lemon drops and the palate and a delicate finish.

England’s northernmost distillery, Ad Gefrin is celebrating its heartland through this expression. The name derives from the 7th century thegns who inhabited Thirlings and were responsible for overseeing the cultivation of the land and safeguarding the abundance of nature. Thirlings Dry Gin attempts to encapsulate this spirit of togetherness through its flavours.

Thirlings Gin is available in person from Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and Distillery, as well as online through its shop, at an RRP of £39.
