Brighton Gin launches annual limited-edition Pride Bottle

Award-winning gin distillery Brighton Gin has announced the launch of its annual limited-edition Pride bottle. Available from 1 June to mark the beginning of 2023’s pride season, the bottle features a new pride-inspired design, originally re-designed by intersex-equality campaigner and artist Valentino Vecchietti.

The limited-edition bottle is available for pre-order directly from Brighton Gin’s online store and will be available to buy from selected independent retailers in the UK. For every bottle sold, Brighton Gin will donate £1 to the Rainbow fund, a local grant-giving organisation that supports LGBTIQA+ and HIV+ organisations in the Brighton area.

Brighton Gin founder Kathy Caton commented: “It’s always a very proud and exciting moment when we launch our limited-edition Pride bottles. This year, the team wanted to create a design that celebrates both the diversity within the business and of the wider LGBTIQA+ community, and the progress that has been made in the fight for equality and equity, and that celebrates the value of allyship and support within our community.

We are one of the very few LGBTQ+-founded, owned and run distilleries not just in the UK, but in the world.  With 70% of our team coming from the LGBTIQA+ community and with our belief in the value of the circular economy and giving back, we’re all very proud to be both celebrating the Inclusive Pride flag and supporting the Rainbow Fund”.
