Australian-based distillery Fossey’s has announced the release of its annual and limited edition Hot Cross Bun Gin.
The gin is infused with a variety of Easter spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon and citrus peel with dried Flame seedless grapes to recreate the taste of hot cross buns.
Bottled at 40% ABV, its label fits the festive spirit, featuring two large easter eggs either side of the easter bunny.
The producers have suggested that the tipple is best enjoyed with tonic and either a citrus or sultana garnish, along with, of course, hot cross buns.
Located in the heart of the city of Mildura, Victoria, Australia, Fossey’s have released numerous other expressions throughout the years, including Ruby Grapefruit gin and Broken Heel gin.
The latest Hot Cross Bun gin will be available to purchase from Wednesday 15 March, at a price of $75 through the Fossey’s gin online shop.
