Outcast Brands, creators of Blood Monkey Irish Gin, have announced the availability of their flagship gin in Canada, through the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). The move into the Canadian market marks the latest step in the brand’s North American expansion.
The expression previously launched in the USA back in April last year.
Blood Monkey Irish Gin is created from a blend of botanicals which includes lime leaf, almond, juniper berry, orris root, Irish rosemary, liquorice, coriander seed, chamomile and angelica root. The producer has described the flavours as rich and nuanced.

Blood Monkey was created by Dublin-based entrepreneur Jason Kidd, who is delighted with the gin branching out into the Canadian market: “We are thrilled to be launching Blood Monkey Gin in Canada through the Liquor Control Board of Ontario and our local partners Cork Wine & Whiskies. Canada has a rich history of appreciation for quality spirits, and we are excited to be a part of it. This is just the first step in our plans to expand our availability across North America and we can’t wait for Canadian gin lovers to try our unique and versatile gin.”
Now available to purchase at Cork Wines and Whiskeys, its owner Jason Nykor commented: “Blood Monkey Gin is a true standout in the market, not only for its unique design,
but for its distinct and unparalleled taste profile. It’s truly a disruptor in the category and I have no doubt that once tried, it will become a go-to for both straight sipping and in cocktails. The gin’s balance, freshness, and uniqueness are truly unmatched and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Blood Monkey.”
