Radico Khaitan launches Jaisalmer Gold Gin

Radico Khaitan has announced the launch of Jaisalmer Gold Gin, the second in the brand’s Jaisalmer range.

The gin is produced in the foothills of the Himalayas and is infused with 18 handpicked botanicals, 14 of which have been sourced in India. They include Coriander, Saffron, Nagpur Orange Peel, Darjeeling Green Tea and Nutmeg among others.

The liquid has then been enhanced by gold filtration to produce the gold gin. This process forms when the gin passes through a filter of golden silk filament, enriching the gin with gold ions.

Sanjeev Banga, President of International Business at Radico Khaitan, commented: “We are delighted to announce the launch of the second luxury gin in the Jaisalmer Range, steeped in Indian history and tradition. Jaisalmer Gold Gin is distilled using the finest quality Indian botanicals including saffron and enhanced by gold filtration, it is a refreshing burst of India on your palate.”

The bottle is inspired by the architecture of the palaces and windows carved out of yellow sandstone in Jaisalmer. The colour is inspired by the golden sand.

Bottled at an ABV of 43%, Jaisalmer Gold Gin is available from HT Drinks, Drink Supermarket and Master of Malt, with an RRP of £39 per 500ml.
