Nose
Vibrant and oily with minerality and a salinity, and plenty of coriander seed.
Palate
More coriander on the palate is joined by biscuity malt notes and oily citrus, most notably lemon and orange.
Finish
Peppery menthol notes and a little heat on the finish.
Comments
A peppery and citrus-forward gin with a bold character that would stand up well to serving alongside tomato juice in a refreshing Red Snapper.
Score
7.6

Nose
Fairly classic aroma with juniper, citrus and earthy spice. There’s a slight bonfire note to it that goes beyond woody, almost into peaty.
Palate
Bitter orange notes on the palate alongside more resinous juniper, clove spice, a touch of angelica and a savoury leafiness, thyme and a little chopped chive. Nicely oily.
Finish
The woody spice and juniper notes return on the grippy finish.
Comments
Nicely dry character. The spice notes would stand up to a more aromatic tonic water.
