Nose
Green juniper, spice, and savoury, slightly curried aromas of ginger, cumin, and cilantro.

Palate
More solid juniper notes upfront that
are green and resinous. Beautiful spiced notes then follow, but the palate is more restrained than the nose.

Finish
Hints of biscuity spice and a dash of sweetness, along with a touch of dry grapefruit.

Comments
A well-made, classic-style gin that nonetheless has a distinctive personality; lime would work well with this, so I’d suggest trying it in a Gimlet.

Score

8.6

Nose
Quite a subtle nose that eventually reveals some citrus and juniper notes and a little florality.

Palate
A little sweetness, like lemon-flavoured boiled sweets, reveals itself on the palate with more juniper and angelica hints.

Finish
There’s a pleasant spicy dryness in the finish, which wraps the tongue along with some piney notes.

Comments
A subtly flavoured and clean London dry that could be used effectively in a variety of classic drinks.

Score

7.8
