Nose
Rich and resinous with a sparkle of pine; soft, gently sweet spice is complemented by chamomile and meadowsweet.

Palate
Oily in texture. Orange citrus peel and coriander seed on the palate, joined by richer notes of chocolate and a dash of woodiness.

Finish
The oily character lingers on the tongue, with a light, herbal leafiness including sage.

Comments
A spicy and citrusy gin that works well with red vermouth, so a Martinez, Sweet Martini, or Negroni would be the order of the day.

Score

7.6

Nose
A spiced warmth like fruit scones. Resinous juniper, coriander, juicy orange citrus, and dusky angelica, with a touch of fennel.

Palate
It’s light and clean in texture, with a slight sweetness like satsuma segments. Notes of juniper with a little spicy, gingery warmth and a dried floral note.

Finish
A hint of piney juniper, caramelised fennel and menthol on the short, warm finish.

Comments
This gin has a nice balance of sweetness and spice that could lend it well to a Negroni.

Score

8.4
