Nose
Exceptionally leafy and green with notes of mint and menthol, as well as myrtle and myrcene.

Palate
The resinous character of the nose continues onto the palate, giving a bright sparkle to the gin. Beyond pine, there is oily citrus and more earthy, resinous flavours.

Finish
Peppery menthol notes linger long, interlaced with delicate talcum-like floral notes.

Comments
A complex and crisp gin that is a great interpretation of a juniper-forward gin with a contemporary twist.

9.0

Nose
Custard cream biscuits, gooseberry, lemon peel, juniper, compressed cucumber, and a touch of aniseed, like dill and fennel tops. Intriguing!

Palate
Cardamom upfront, with fennel seeds and lemon zest. Juniper berries, crushed and oily, meld deliciously with its herbal/spicy character.

Finish
Fades slowly with notes of caraway, crushed cardamom pods, and lemony juniper.

Comments
This was delightfully different and I loved it. Its savouriness could work well in a Martini – I’d like mine on the wetter side.

Score

8.8
