Nose
An intriguing nose with earthy violet and liquorice, along with soft, herbal sage and more floral citrus.
Palate
A little sweetness to start, with a flurry of floral notes: high and very perfumed notes of chamomile, orange blossom, jasmine and magnolia. Then a dash of salinity and leafy juniper.
Finish
The oily floral notes linger.
Comments
An unusually florid gin, which might not be for everyone but will have some lovely applications, such as in a Ramos Gin Fizz.
Score
7.7

Nose
Hints of dark chocolate and menthol. Juniper, juicy lemon citrus, and a slight savouriness like rosemary.
Palate
Becomes quite floral, with notes of lavender, geranium, orris, and perfumed lemony citrus. Green piney notes follow, with a little fennel seed.
Finish
Perfumed floral notes linger with a touch of woody pine.
Comments
With the complex array of floral and citrus notes, this gin could be worth trying in an Aviation.
