Nose
Bright and zesty with a little sweetness. The floral nature of white grapefruit peel comes through, as does some of the acidity of the flesh.

Palate
A gentle tartness on the palate along with a great representation of the grapefruit. The underlying gin botanicals are muted by comparison, but definitely present.

Finish
Lingering grapefruit: oily with a mix of zing and a very slight bitterness.

Comments
A fresh and exciting spirit that would be a wonderful partner for tonic water.

Score

8.1

Nose
Bright, juicy grapefruit upfront that is on the sweeter, rather than tarter, side – like a half-grapefruit garnished with a cocktail cherry. Sweet orange, too.

Palate
Pink grapefruit and orange slices in syrup, with touches of pine and earthy spice.

Finish
Grapefruit notes start to turn more bitter, and a little earthy note develops through the finish, which is short and fairly warming.

Comments
A tart and bubbly serve would help to give this sweet, citrussy flavoured gin a bit of a lift.

Score

7.7
