Nose
A pleasant and complex array of citrus, including lemon and orange, as well as gingery lemongrass. Aromatic cocoa powder and dried violets are there, too.

Palate
A sweet, almost aquavit-like start with notes of caraway, fennel, and anise, before liquorice and orris with delightfully woody pine.

Finish
Dry, with a floral flourish and lingering woody pine.

Comments
An intriguing and delightful gin that is an absolute pleasure to sip neat.

Nose
Sweet anise note of liquorice. Angelica, coriander, and cardamom, accompanied by a creamy woodiness. Hints of lemon and Earl Grey tea.

Palate
Liquorice and spices sweeten with the fragrance of rose. Then spicier aniseed notes, cardamom pods, and piney juniper becoming more prominent.

Finish
A menthol-aniseed finish with notes of juniper, fennel, and a touch of citrus.

Comments
This has a lovely character. A touch of floral tonic could play up the sweeter notes.
