Nose
Plump, juicy strawberry aromas and the soft, relaxing florality of dried lavender.

Palate
Bold, jammy strawberry upfront: strawberry conserve, jelly, and strawberry splits (the ice lollies). The lavender is secondary, and other botanicals are modest.

Finish
Lingering jammy notes of strawberry and tinned raspberries with a touch of cherry.

Comments
While I like the flavour innovation, strawberry sweetness overwhelmed the rest of the gin at times. That said, it would work well in a summery highball.

7.0

Nose
An almost wild strawberry note: very plump, ripe berries combined with dark leafiness. Lemon sherbet and sweet florals, like Love Heart sweets.

Palate
Slightly viscous. Plump strawberries alongside a medicinal herbal note and slightly toasted lavender.

Finish
The fruits start to get jammy, with a dusting of stalky lavender on top. The leafy herbal note returns.

Comments
Almost liqueur-like in its texture and flavours – one for a summery drink with lots of crushed ice.

Score

7.3
