Nose
Vibrant pink in colour. The nose has a slightly dairy quality to it, reminding me of strawberry yoghurt with a hint of sherbert.

Palate
Strawberry upfront, accompanied by a gentle, sweet spice that helps to add dimension. It has a balanced sweetness and earthy undertones.

Finish
The earthiness continues, along with a dry leafyiness and light black pepper.

Comments
A pleasant spirit and I like the presentation of the strawberry flavour, but I’d like the underlying gin botanicals to be a tad more dominant.

Score

7.1

Nose
Overripe, slightly stewed strawberry with hints of sour rhubarb, watermelon and a slightly funky hay-like note. A little juniper, and Turkish delight.

Palate
Sweet-sour strawberry notes, like a flavoured cheesecake. Slightly stewed notes of rhubarb, lemon and stalky coriander, with a touch of aniseed.

Finish
A little piney juniper reveals itself alongside red berry fruitiness as it fades.

Comments
The juicy, fruity character of this flavoured gin would make a nice match for a floral tonic water.

Score

7.3
