Nose
A clean and bright nose with hints of gooseberry and clotted cream.

Palate
Crisp and piney notes upfront are accompanied by fragrant and floral coriander seed, which also contributes citrus and spice. This has a lovely interplay between gin’s two most important botanicals.

Finish
A little lemony citrus and woody spice comes into play towards the end with a long, oily finish.

Comments
A really cracking classic gin: bold, interesting, and versatile. I’d love it in
a Martini.

Nose
Creamy lemon and liquorice, with hints of almond frangipane and pastry crust. Gentle floral notes, a little ripe pear, nutmeg, and a light touch of juniper.

Palate
Fruitiness like raspberry balances with crunchy, herbaceous notes of parsley and coriander. Woody spice like nutmeg, juniper, and a hint of tannic black tea.

Finish
Juicy red fruit and tea notes, like a fruity rooibos. It’s mouth-puckeringly dry.

Comments
Nice interplay of sweet and savoury. I wonder how it would fare in a fluffy, well-shaken Gin Sour.

8.4
