Bridgerton-inspired cocktails from Warner’s Gin

Who’s excited for the new series of Bridgerton?! To celebrate the launch of the Netflix drama’s latest series on 25 March, Warner’s Distillery has come up with a suite of cocktails inspired by Bridgerton. These drinks – all fit for one of Lady Whistledown’s society balls – can be made at home or purchased at Bridgerton‘s Secret Cinema event in London, for which Warner’s is the official gin partner.

The Queen Bee


Ingredients

  • 35ml Warner’s Honeybee Gin
  • 10ml Amontillado sherry
  • 10ml Kings Ginger
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 10ml fresh ginger juice
  • 10ml fresh pineapple juice
  • 10ml 2:1 sugar syrup (2 part sugar, 1 part boiling water, stir till clear)
  • Lemon slice, to garnish

Method

Combine ingredients in a shaker (or jam jar) and add as much ice as possible. Cover and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh cubes of ice. Garnish with a lemon slice.

The Scandal Sheet


Ingredients

  • 30ml Warner’s London Dry Gin
  • 5ml Martini Rosso
  • 5ml Amontillado sherry
  • 5ml Strawberry puree
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 15ml chamomile syrup
  • 70ml Prosecco or Champagne
  • Lemon peel, to garnish

Method

In a shaker, combine all the ingredients except the Prosecco/Champagne. Fill with ice, do a quick shake and strain into a wine glass. Top up with Prosecco/Champagne. Express the lemon peel over the glass, then drop in.

The Duke’s Duel


Ingredients

  • 50ml Warner’s Rhubarb Gin
  • 20ml Martini Rosso
  • 5ml Peach liqueur
  • 12.5ml Campari
  • 12.5ml Aperol
  • Orange slice, to garnish

Method

Add all the ingredients to a glass and stir with big cubes of ice. Garnish with a slice of orange.
