The Cotswolds Distillery is commemorating Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee with a limited-edition gin.
Platinum Jubilee Gin is launching in May in celebration of the reign of Great Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
It is inspired by classic English summer desserts and includes strawberry, raspberry and pink peppercorns. The dark glass bottle is adorned with a label coloured in purple – a traditional colour of the monarchy – and silver.
Dan Szor, founder of the Cotswolds Distillery, said: “We are delighted to launch our Platinum Jubilee Gin to celebrate the unprecedented anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen. It encapsulates the taste of summer in a bottle for everyone to enjoy with family and friends.
“The Platinum Jubilee Gin is the perfect addition to our best-selling Cotswolds Dry Gin and is a must have on your garden table this summer.”
Tasting notes from the Cotswolds Distillery say the gin has notes of jammy raspberry, strawberry, juniper, fresh grapefruit, pink pepper, and a hint of vanilla. The team recommends serving it in a celebratory G&T garnished with fresh strawberries.
Cotswolds Distillery Platinum Jubilee Gin (46%) is available to purchase from May from Majestic Wine, with a recommended price of £34.95 per bottle.
