Nose
Green peppercorns on the nose, and the bright pineiness of juniper.

Palate
Fresh, green leaves to start, joined by lemon verbena and basil. The gin coats the tongue and is full-bodied and oily. It’s powerful, but the high strength is well integrated. Notes of orange and lime give a bright liveliness.

Finish
A final pepperiness is neatly combined with notes of juniper and lime.

Comments
A fun navy gin that is a bit different to its contemporaries. I’d enjoy it in a
long Gimlet.

Nose
Strong, zesty orange notes – like a spiced orange pudding with plump segments. A hint of red berry, with assertive juniper, coriander seed and a touch of cinnamon.

Palate
Orange and milk chocolate with cassia and coriander, bright juniper and floral hints too.

Finish
It gets more piney and savoury with a touch of bitter herbs and orange. It has a nice warmth and good length to it.

Comments
Good botanical intensity and well-integrated alcohol. I can see it making a tasty Negroni.
