Nose
A bold and powerful nose full of luscious green aromas: leafy with an array of citrus and a woody, ginger spice.

Palate
A stalky, savoury start followed by resinous, oily crushed juniper berries and then more woodiness: cedar and pine, before sweeter notes of chocolate violets.

Finish
A slightly oily, earthy finish lingers on the tongue before gently fading away.

Comments
A great gin with a refined character that would be at home in a Gin Sour with an orange wedge garnish.

Score

8.1

Nose
A glass of cold cola with lots of lemon. Green bell peppers, black peppercorns, and sappy pine notes.

Palate
Warm and smooth, with more lemon and cola notes. A slight spicy savouriness, touches of pine, and woody sweetness like angelica and liquorice.

Finish
Bitter, crunchy green peppers and a little chilli spice, with more woody pine notes. It’s got good length.

Comments
It’s quite dark and punchy for a London Dry. A longer mix with tonic or bitter lemon could work well.

Score

8.2
