Nose
Oodles of green cardamom give an aromatic sweetness. There’s also a touch of floral ginger, backed up by pleasant citrus.
Palate
The cardamom is more restrained on the palate, but the gin’s overall character is feisty with a traditional base of juniper, coriander, and pepper.
Finish
The pepper continues, along with some alcohol warmth and a final, comforting glow of cardamom.
Comments
A gin that packs a punch for the relatively low alcoholic strength. It would mix well with ginger beer in a Gin Mule.
Score
7.9

Nose
Like someone has zested and juiced a lime in front of me, and then ground black pepper on it. Grainy sweetness and a crunchy green herbal note here.
Palate
It’s very green with fresh herbs – basil, coriander, a touch of celery and lemongrass. More juicy lime, stewed this time, and refreshing juniper.
Finish
Those crunchy green herbs and a slight piney bitterness linger on.
Comments
The bold, spicy character of this would make a fair match for ginger ale.
