Nose
Liquorice, as well as cedar shavings – a neat precursor to a deep, resinous juniper aroma with a dash of floral honey.

Palate
Eucalyptus and menthol fill the mouth with more woody cedar and pine, as well as spruce and slightly jammy berry notes. Exceptionally green and lusciously leafy.

Finish
Notes reminiscent of a pine forest are joined by cranberry and a peek of rose petals.

Comments
A fascinating gin: there is so much to it, it almost defies description. It is well worth trying.

Nose
Peppery, herbal warmth, floral notes and just a hint of tea leaves. Juicy orange, sappy pine, and a sweet muskiness.

Palate
More freshly juiced orange and juniper with peppery spice, sweet woody notes and a little bitter pink grapefruit.

Finish
The pink grapefruit notes get stronger, supported by drying spice.

Comments
A very pleasant gin with nice accents to the classic character. I can see it standing up well to a mix with fruit juice.

Score

8.7
