Nose
Rich, succulent aromas of bright citrus and a pinch of sweet spice, with leafy, green notes of myrtle.
Palate
An exceptionally soft texture with a gradually building mineral heat. Lots of green, leafy menthol flavours here: powerful and aromatic, and neatly combining with resinous pine.
Finish
A lingering minerality is joined by notes of sweet chocolate mint and a touch of biscuitiness.
Comments
A typical example of Australian terroir that would pair nicely with herbaceous tonic water.
Score
7.6

Nose
Crushed cumin and coriander seeds, black pepper, and a little onion seed sweetness. Sweet orange, juniper and touch of dandelion.
Palate
Light texture. The citrus turns to lemon and lime, like fresh wedges squeezed over dry spice-rubbed meat. A touch of star anise and dried fruits, like festive biscuit dough.
Finish
Herbal coriander and pine emerge
with a continuing note of dandelion.
Comments
A characterful gin that I’d like to top up with tonic and get to know better.
