As Valentine’s Day approaches, you could be on the lookout for something a bit special in the gin department. Whether it’s a new gin to enjoy with someone special in your life (even if it’s yourself) or a limited edition to remember the day by, we have rounded up a few ideas to get you started.

Tarquin’s Black Cherry Gin
This limited-edition release from Tarquin’s in Cornwall infuses its original gin with freshly pressed black cherries and a touch of orange zest, designed to transport drinkers to the mountains and lakes of Germany’s Black Forest. The distillery’s founder, Tarquin Leadbetter, said he wanted the gin to capture the cherries’ “powerful, complex yet sweet flavour”. It’s available until April 2022.
Eden Mill Passion Gin
Eden Mill’s Passion Gin, flavoured with passionfruit, coconut and orange, is a seductive spirit that will bring a touch of the exotic to your Valentine’s Day celebrations. For something a little lighter, you could try Eden Mill’s Love Gin, flavoured with rose petals and hibiscus.

Sealed with a Kiss Rhubarb and Heather Gin Liqueur
The Isle of Barra Distillery in Scotland has given its Rhubarb and Heather Gin Liqueur a revamp for this Valentine’s limited edition. It comes in a specially designed bottle which has been wax sealed and stamped by hand. The distillery’s founders Michael and Katie Morrison say it’s “something special [that] deserves to be shared with your someone special”.

Massingberd-Mundy Marie-Jeanne’s Rose Gold Gin
This Lincolnshire distiller has launched a special edition of its Marie-Jeanne’s Pink Gin for Valentine’s Day, Marie-Jeanne’s Rose Gold Gin, which will be available for just two weeks. But if you miss out, never fear: the distillery is launching another limited edition, Burrell’s Blood Orange Dry Gin, on 15 February.

Gordon’s Pink Gin
To mark Valentine’s Day, Gordon’s has launched three limited-edition bottle designs for its Premium Pink Gin. The bottles have been designed by illustrator Ruby Taylor to celebrate friendships and relationships, and feature slogans such as “You’re the G to my T”. You can find the limited-edition designs at all major retailers.

BABY Pink Gin
Founded in Victoria, Australia in 2019, BABY Pink Gin’s claim to fame is that it holds its vibrant pink hue when mixed. It’s distilled with rose petals, raspberry leaf and chamomile, making it a floral, fruity and colourful spirit to mix up some Valentine’s drinks with.

Beefeater Peach and Raspberry Gin
Beefeater has dipped its toe into pink gins with a couple of expressions that marry its London Dry Gin with natural fruit flavours for a fresh taste and rosy hue: Peach and Raspberry Gin, released in 2021, and Pink Strawberry Gin.

Verdant gin/wildflower bombs gift pack
For an eco-conscious alternative to a bouquet of flowers, Inverroche is offering a limited-edition Valentine’s gift package featuring its Verdant gin and wildflower seed bombs. The pack includes a cocktail recipe to enjoy together, developed by London bar Heads + Tails.
