Throughout Dry January, we’re using our Cocktail of the Week feature to showcase some great non-alcoholic serves – whether you’re taking part in the sobriety campaign, or just want to try something new this weekend. Today, we’re sampling the botanic delights of Cornwall with Pentire Spirits. Launched in 2020, this non-alcoholic drinks brand uses foraged ingredients from the Cornish coast to distil its two products, Adrift and Seaward. This is its riff on a Gimlet, which has a darkly sweet twist from maple syrup.
- 50ml Pentire Adrift
- 25ml fresh lime juice
- 1 bar spoon maple syrup
- 3 bay leaves
Chill your chosen glass in the freezer. Add the Pentire, lime juice, maple syrup and two bay leaves to a mixing glass along with ice and stir for a few seconds. Strain into the chilled glass and garnish with a fresh bay leaf.
