UK gin brand Massingberd-Mundy has launched a second seasonal limited-edition spirit for the colder months.
Following the release of its Pumpkin Spice Gin in the autumn, the Lincolnshire distillery has launched its small-batch Mulled Berry Winter Gin to coincide with the festive period.
Head distiller Tristan Jorgensen worked to create a gin with a classic Christmas flavour, infusing it with fresh figs, blackberries, locally grown elderberries, dried orange and traditional mulling spices including cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Massingberd-Mundy says the Mulled Berry Winter Gin has aromas of berry jam and cinnamon, with stewed fruit and warming spice notes on the palate. Jorgensen recommends serving it in a G&T with light tonic water, garnished with fresh blackberries and a cinnamon stick.

Produced in a small batch of 150 bottles, the Mulled Berry Winter Gin (43% ABV) will be available from 1 December.
The Massingberd-Mundy distillery is based on the South Ormsby Estate in the Lincolnshire Wolds, a 3,000-acre estate that is home to diverse animal and plant life. Each of its gins is inspired by a different person of local historical importance – including its namesake, Charles Burrell Massingberd. Find out more at southormsbyestate.co.uk.
