Nose
Savoury, spiced notes of cumin and ginger. There’s citrus, too, in the form
of lemongrass.

Palate
Sweet rose, followed by wonderful notes of dark chocolate and ginger that remind me of some of my favourite chocolates at Christmas. It has a delightful mouthfeel.

Finish
Lingering citrus and ginger with spicy coriander make this a gently warming and delicious sip.

Comments
An entertaining gin with a lovely spiciness that would mix well together with ginger ale or ginger beer.

Score

8.5

Nose
A big hit of chilli and crunchy bell pepper with black peppercorns, lemon peel and juniper.

Palate
It’s tingly with more black pepper and coriander, the sweet, earthy musk of angelica, and some resinous juniper.

Finish
It fades fairly quickly and cleanly with lingering piney notes and lemon.

Comments
A nicely made gin that stays true to classic style. A good Indian or Mediterranean tonic is all this would need.

Score

8.4
