Nose
A little aggressive on the nose with green salty aromas that come across as slightly stewed.

Palate
Plump, fruity, and rather tropical with notes of mango, pineapple, and passionfruit. It is fruity, but not overly-sweet – bright and refreshing.

Finish
There’s a cucumber-like freshness on the finish along with zingy lemon peel.

Comments
The nose and the taste are not in perfect harmony, but the gin would make some delicious, thirst-quenching drinks.

Score

7.4

Nose
Salty-sweet, like shellfish in white wine and cream sauce with lemon and parsley. Crisp, vegetal bell pepper. Rye bread and dill come later.

Palate
Salty notes fade back and sweeter citrus, dill and grain notes come forward with piney juniper and angelica. The texture is simply delightful.

Finish
Lengthy and slightly drying. The coastal, meatier notes return for a final flourish with juicy citrus.

Comments
This evolved cleverly from nose to palate, and would be at home in a long, refreshing serve.

Score

8.2
