Masons of Yorkshire has unveiled a trio of vodkas to sit alongside its range of award-winning gins.
The new vodkas have been slowly distilled and come presented in the brand’s new-look bottle with bold, colourful labels pointing to their key ingredients.
Masons Classic Vodka is the base of the group, with a clean flavour designed to work well in a variety of cocktails. Tapping into the popularity of the Espresso Martini, the Espresso Vodka is vapour-infused with coffee beans from El Salvador, supplied by Yorkshire roaster Rounton Coffee. Meanwhile the Citrus Vodka is infused with fresh lemon and grapefruit for a crisp, refreshing flavour.
Karl Mason, who co-founded the distillery in 2013 with wife Cathy, said it was their “spirit of innovation” that had led them to branch out from gin for the first time.
“We wanted to create a range of vodkas with versatility, perfect for a simple serve or for whipping up into cocktails,” he said. “Consumers are looking for east ways to recreate their favourite cocktails at home, and this new range makes it easier than ever, with flavours that pack a punch.”
Masons of Yorkshire moved into a new state-of-the-art distillery in early 2020. Representing an investment of more than £1 million, the new facility features a flavour development lab and visitor spaces including a tasting room and bar.
Masons of Yorkshire Vodka is available directly from Masons, in selected Morrisons stores and wholesale, priced at £28 per bottle.
