English gin producer Massingberd-Mundy Distillery is embracing autumnal flavours in its new limited-edition pumpkin spiced gin.
To create the new gin, Massinberd-Mundy infused its flagship Burrell’s Dry Gin with pumpkins grown near its distillery in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Alongside pumpkin the gin is also infused with spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and vanilla.
The pumpkin spiced latte has proved that this combination of flavours is a hit with people in the UK and further afield as the colder months set in – and Massingberd-Mundy is hoping its gin-based version will also hit the right notes.
You’ll have to be quick to snap up a bottle, though, as only 150 are going on sale.
Tristan Jørgensen, head distiller at Massingberg-Mundy Distillery, said: “With all the flavours you’d expect from a delicious pumpkin pie, this warm, spicy gin captures everything we love about autumn and the harvest and Halloween season. To make this gin, we teamed up with Redhouse Farm in Waddingworth who kindly gave us some of their beautiful pumpkins.
“Earlier this year, we produced our first limited-edition gin, which went down extremely well with our customers near and far, and I’m sure this gin will be just as well received.”
Massingberd-Mundy Distillery was founded in 2019 on the South Ormsby Estate. It scooped a Gold at the World Gin Awards 2021 for its Marie Jeanne Pink Gin. Its Pumpkin Spiced Gin is now available to order online at southormsbyestate.co.uk.
