Nose
Light straw in colour, with aromas of woody juniper, floral tea, and dusky cocoa.

Palate
More floral notes up front include jasmine, violet, and the rose sweetness of Turkish delight. Pine blossom mixed with the more woody, resinous juniper flavours follow.

Finish
Sweet spice with vanilla and cassia, and flavours of waxy tonka bean and black tea.

Comments
A fine example of a Contemporary gin with an innovative flair that is still obviously a gin. This would be a brilliant choice for a highball.

8.3

Nose
A combination of light floral and herbal notes gives it a slightly medicinal feel. Sweet lemon and a touch of coconut.

Palate
Nice texture. More zingy lemon, with tea tree, spice, perfumed floral notes and some nuanced pine and juniper.

Finish
A lavender-like floral note at the end, with a whisper of fruity sweetness and a bit of heat there too.

Comments
An intriguing gin – I wonder what it would be like in a Bee’s Knees with those floral and citrus notes.

Score

8.2
