Nose
A sweet and juicy nose with fruity berry notes and some creamy vanilla.
Palate
Grapeskin and floral flavours before a rich, plump fruitiness with grape, berries and citrus. An elegant sweetness and silky texture, with coriander and angelica towards the end.
Finish
Gentle alcohol on the finish, which is relatively dry and clean.
Comments
A particularly aromatic and fragrant gin that would be at home in a French ‘75.
Score
8.1

Nose
A massive whack of sweet pear and white grape, married with the tartness of gooseberries. Gentle orange and juniper notes underneath.
Palate
Beautifully light. It remains sweet with those pear and white grape notes, and more prominent juniper notes provide a counterpoint. There are touches of spice around the edge.
Finish
It is lengthy and drying, with a final flicker of sweet pear.
Comments
It tasted and felt as good as it smelt. I’d savour this in a Dry Martini or a Spritz with sparkling wine.
