Nose
A fragrant nose of violet and orris root with a little green peppercorn before some light aromas of Turkish delight.

Palate
Herbaceous and piney with a texture that really fills the mouth. The resinous pine notes develop into a slightly umami note faintly reminiscent of wasabi.

Finish
Lingering floral pepper flavours that are gentle and not at all overpowering.

Comments
A classic gin with a slight savoury, peppery leaning; lovely with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic.

Score

8.4

Nose
Red apples and blackcurrants smothered with milk chocolate. Coriander, ginger biscuits, a hint of orange zest and bright juniper.

Palate
Smooth and soft. More milk chocolate sweetness and tart apple, orange citrus and a solid piney framework too.

Finish
Apple, fresh, raw and juicy, clings on with ripe red berry notes – like the aftermath of sipping a fruit cordial.

Comments
A classic gin with a bit of something about it. I’d serve it in a G&T garnished with apple.

Score

8.7
