Nose
Zesty and slightly spicy. There are also some subtle, but still some discernible berry aromas.
Palate
This has an excellent, thick texture that coats the mouth. A light sweetness is accompanied by baking spice – cinnamon and cassia – followed by more green, resinous flavours in there too.
Finish
Leafy menthol flavours combine with lingering black pepper and vanilla.
Comments
A notably silky gin with solid spice notes. As such, I think it would work well in a Gin Alexander.

8.2

Nose
Very jammy, like tart raspberry and blackcurrant jam, with lemon peel and fresh juniper notes.
Palate
Beautifully smooth with a good juniper backbone. The fruit notes are joined by a savoury, peppery warmth and baking spice notes that give it a cake-batter quality.
Finish
It fades slowly, but is whisper-soft, with more bright red fruits, lemon zest and some spicy touches.
Comments
A well-executed gin with a texture I could enjoy for days. I’d like this neat over ice, please.
