Cornish gin distillers are getting ready for a celebration of the county’s distilling industry that will take place just ahead of, and just down the road from, the 2021 G7 Summit.
The ‘Gin7 Summit’ is being hosted by the Eagle House Hotel in Launceston, home to Eagle One Gin, on Thursday 10 June. It will celebrate some new faces and old hands on the Cornish gin scene including Tarquin’s, Caspyn Gin, Land of Saints Gin, and the Falmouth Distilling Co.
It comes as world leaders prepare to descend on the Cornish coastal resort of Carbis Bay for the hotly anticipated G7 Summit on 11-13 June.
As well as a chance to sample a variety of local gins, the event will include a dinner of Cornish produce. A limited number of tickets is available, with all proceeds from the evening being donated to Cornwall Blood Bikes.
More information about the Gin7 summit can be found on the Eagle House Hotel website.
