Sunday Brunch’s Simon Rimmer launches gin with Tappers

UK gin brand Tappers is partnering with Sunday Brunch presenter and celebrity chef Simon Rimmer to launch a new gin.

Tickled Pink is a compounded gin distilled with the Merseyside brand’s signature botanicals, with the addition of rose and hibiscus to give the gin a delicate flavour and a subtle pink hue.

Of the new release, Simon Rummer said: “Since joining the Tappers family in 2020 we’ve worked hard to create a pink gin that we all love. Inspired by our mutual passions for incredible ingredients and flavours, Tickled Pink Gin is made with Provence red rose petals and hibiscus flowers. An all-natural rose hue reflects the traditional method of cold-compounding, lending a delicately sweet and floral flavour.”

Tappers founder Steve Tapril added: “It was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Simon to produce this fantastic addition to the Tappers range. Simon shares our love for great ingredients and great flavour and so of course it’s only natural that Tickled Pink has both!”

Launched in 2016 with a mission to ‘revive the art of gin’, Tappers is an independent family-run distillery located on the Wirral Peninsula. Its range includes Brightside London Dry Gin and Darkside Coastal Gin, as well as seasonal and limited-edition releases.

Tickled Pink Gin by Simon Rimmer will be available at tappersgin.com and Booths supermarkets.
