Nose
Strong juniper on the nose: oily and resinous with a honeyed sweetness and earthy liquorice.
Palate
Clean in texture with a light minerality to start, followed by green, stalky notes and piney juniper.
Finish
More crisp pine and resinous juniper on the finish, which is long and dry.
Comments
A piney, juniper-forward gin reminiscent of a forest – one for traditionalists.
Score
8.7

Nose
Very green, like a fresh herby salad, with a slight hue in the glass. Wet plant stems, sturdy juniper, a touch of savoury spice and lemon peel.
Palate
It’s light and oily in the mouth, with green juniper and more leafy herbal notes that get sweeter, almost fruity, as it goes. A little peppery prickle comes through mid-palate.
Finish
A sweetness like candied petals on the finish, which has a decent length.
Comments
The lovely green notes in this could lend it well to a bright, herbal cocktail like a Basil Smash.
