Nose
Delicious, warming spice notes, including cinnamon, nutmeg, and cassia, alongside hints of raisins and citrus peel.

Palate
Juniper upfront, followed by a complex array of woody spice notes that add depth and a gentle sweetness. There is a lovely harmony between all of the flavours here.

Finish
A light sweetness is combined with ginger spice, lemongrass-like citrus, and coriander.

Comments
A bright, spice-forward gin that would mix well with ginger ale.

8.9

Nose
Polo mints! It’s fresh like spearmint, with notes of juniper, a bit of liquorice and further green, herbal notes too.

Palate
Orange citrus, more anise character that is both herbal and earthy, with warming spice and piney juniper bringing up the rear.

Finish
It’s medium in length with some heat, a little tingle of spice and fading pine and herbal notes.

Comments
This was a joy, with a lovely mouthfeel and lots of nuances to explore. In any mix you’d need something to stand up to that minty character.

8.7
