Nose
Crisp, crunchy, and refreshing bell pepper makes this decidedly savoury, intriguing, and exciting.

Palate
Earthy notes with a touch of mushroom-like umami before moving towards more savoury stalky and peppery notes. Fruity crunchiness of red bell pepper, with a little residual heat, as well as splash of citrus.

Finish
The gentle warmth continues, joined by woody pine and lingering menthol black pepper.

Comments
A gin that pushes the boundaries.Would be well suited to a herbal tonic water.

Score

8.4

Nose
Up front it is savoury, salty and vinegary, like a pungent barbeque sauce. Past that and a crack of black pepper, some floral and piney notes are hiding.

Palate
It gets more traditionally spicy now, with peppercorn, coriander and a zing of fresh chillies. The juniper and citrus notes feel a bit muted against these strong characters.

Finish
Tingling chilli heat lingers, and some herbaceous notes chime in with a flourish.

Comments
An unconventional aged gin, but certainly a feast for the palate.

Score

7.8
