Nose
Light aromas of violet chocolate creams, along with raspberry, candied peel, and earthy liquorice notes.

Palate
A rush of wood smoke on the palate that’s mixed with strong juniper notes. Flavours of lapsang souchong are joined by more gentle, floral notes.

Finish
Dry, earthy notes with crisp pine and lingering orange.

Comments
A fascinating gin with great mixing potential and plenty to explore. It would make a fantastic Negroni.

Nose
Lots of piney juniper and juicy lemon, followed by touches of drying spice. There’s a hint of something herbal and slightly sweet, like freshly picked red fruit.

Palate
Big and bold, with strawberry notes that get jammier as it goes. The juniper and lemon citrus carry on strong, alongside dry, savoury spice. There’s a building warmth, too.

Finish
Juniper and coriander have the final say as it fades. It’s warm, but burn-free.

Comments
A highball serve here might help to emphasise those citrus/fruit notes.
