Cocktail of the week: Slingsby Sangria

Slingsby Sangria

With the further easing of lockdown restrictions in the UK regions this week, more of us are now able to get together outside. If you’re in need of a recipe to feed a thirsty crowd – and bring a bit of sunshine to your gathering if the sun doesn’t make an appearance – look no further than this sangria recipe from Slingsby Gin! The addition of apple juice and elderflower cordial bring a delightful springtime feel to this classic Spanish serve.

Slingsby Sangria

Ingredients

  • 100ml Slingsby London Dry Gin
  • 375ml white wine
  • 100ml ginger ale
  • 100ml cloudy apple juice
  • 100ml elderflower cordial
  • A drizzle of runny honey
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 green apple, cubed
  • Springs of mint, to garnish

Method

Add all ingredients to a jug with cubed ice. Pour into individual tumblers, ensuring each glass receives a serving of fruit, and garnish with a mint spring.
