Take a tropical trip with Hayman’s Exotic Citrus gin

London distillery Hayman’s is launching a new gin that packs a tropical punch in time for the summer.

Hayman’s Exotic Citrus is made using hand-peeled and sun-dried citrus peels from fruits including kumquat, pomelo, Persian lime and mandarin, which are infused with its London Distilled Gin.

The family-run distiller says the peels’ citrusy flavours and oils complement the citrus-forward style of its signature gin, creating a zingy spirit.

James Hayman, co-owner of Hayman’s Gin, said: “As the first London gin distilling family to include citrus as a key botanical, this is a natural evolution for us – we are simply adding a delicious exotic citrus flavour to our style of gin.

“At a time when the consumer is increasingly more conscious about natural ingredients, it is a gin with additional flavour that is naturally distilled from botanicals.”

Hayman’s recommends enjoying its Exotic Citrus gin over ice with premium tonic and garnished with fresh orange and basil, or mixed up in an Exotic Citrus Martini. The gin is available now from the Hayman’s online shop, priced at £28 for a 70cl bottle.

With a distilling heritage stretching back to the 18th century, Hayman’s is one of the oldest names in UK gin. After a spell making its spirits in Essex, the brand moved to a new home in Balham, south west London, in 2018.
