After French distiller Audemus Spirits announced the launch of its Umami Gin earlier this week, we’ve returned to its flagship Pink Pepper Gin for our cocktail of the week. This little beauty is named after the world-renowned Pegu Club in New York City, a pioneer in the modern craft cocktail movement. While the venue sadly closed its doors last year, you can still enjoy a little slice of it in this drink!
Pegu Club
Ingredients
- 40ml Pink Pepper Dry Gin
- 20ml fresh lime juice
- 15ml Triple Sec
- 5ml 2:1 sugar syrup (2 parts sugar to 1 part water)
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Method
Shake the ingredients with ice and strain into a coupe glass.
